01

Jim & Lironne Whole Home Renovation | East Boca Raton, Palm Beach Farms

This case study follows the complete renovation of Jim and Lironne's 2,100-square-foot home in the Palm Beach Farms neighborhood of East Boca Raton.

The project included a full interior renovation along with the addition of a new bedroom and bathroom.

Although the homeowners had already hired an architect, obtained permits, and completed portions of the exterior work, the project was not truly ready for construction. Through a comprehensive construction review, we identified layout improvements, corrected structural details, coordinated revised architectural plans, and helped transform an approved set of drawings into a practical, buildable renovation plan.

This project highlights why approved plans and permits alone do not guarantee a successful renovation—and why careful planning before construction can prevent costly delays, redesigns, and unexpected challenges.

Z & Lori Condo Renovation | Galt Ocean Mile, Fort Lauderdale

This case study follows the complete renovation of Z & Lori's beachfront condominium on Galt Ocean Mile in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The project included a full interior renovation with significant layout modifications, featuring a new kitchen, bathrooms, closets, living areas, laundry room, and custom finishes.

Unlike a single-family home, condominium renovations require careful planning around building restrictions, plumbing locations, association requirements, permitting, and construction logistics. Through our Pre-Renovation Consulting process, we helped transform the homeowners' vision into a practical, buildable plan before architectural drawings and construction began.

This project demonstrates how thoughtful planning can simplify the renovation process, reduce costly redesigns, and help homeowners achieve exceptional results—even in complex condominium environments.

03

Whispering Woods Home Addition | Coral Springs Case Study

This case study follows the planning and construction of a 1,500-square-foot home addition in the Whispering Woods community of Coral Springs.

The project added two bedrooms, a Jack and Jill bathroom, and a private in-law suite to accommodate the homeowners' growing family's changing needs.

After investing in architectural drawings, the homeowners received contractor bids that were far beyond their expected budget and believed the project might have to be abandoned. A detailed construction review revealed that the original design created unnecessary structural work and major disruption to the existing home.

By redesigning key structural elements before construction began, we eliminated unnecessary work, reduced the projected construction cost by approximately $80,000–$100,000, and helped transform an unaffordable addition into a practical, buildable project. This case study demonstrates how experienced pre-renovation planning can uncover smarter construction solutions before costly mistakes are built into the project.

Project Type: 1,500 Sq. Ft. Home Addition
Location: Whispering Woods, Coral Springs, Florida
Approximate Size: 1,500 Square Feet
